Family Coaching Case Studies

To help illustrate what Life Coaching can achieve here are some recent case studies from the Life Harmony files presented anonymously for reasons of confidentiality.

Case study 1.

A married woman in her mid twenties with an 8 month old child is about to return to work. Her company was not very helpful or supportive during her pregnancy and is not being cooperative about a flexible approach to her return-to-work. She started Life Coaching sessions and developed over the next few weeks a feeling of being in control and of having choices. The knock-on effect has been an increase in her self esteem, allowing her to weigh up options and state her case with confidence to the company. She also found ways to encourage her husband to take a more pro-active role in the home and in the care of their child.

Case study 2.

A young professional couple have a new baby who does not behave according to the books his parents have been reading. Life Coaching sessions with the couple helped them to work out a system which enabled them to have time for each other, time for themselves and get a bit more rest. They were able to develop strategies around the family unit which were flexible and took into account the needs of each family member.
